Homemade Chocolate Pecan Tarts Recipe
3/4 cup chopped pecan pieces
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 cup mararine
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2 large eggs (beaten)
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
(melted)
2 tbsp. butter (melted)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
Prepare
Preheat oven to °350 F. In mixing bowl combine flour , sugar and cocoa powder.Cut margarine into flour mix until crumbs form.Mix in 1/4 cup ice water 1 tbsp. at a time until dough forms.With rolling pin on floured surface roll out dough to a 14" circle.Cut out 6 7" circles and line 6 - 6" tart dessert pans with removable bottoms.Chill 1 hour ,in a mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients add 1/2 cup to each tart crust.Bake 45 minutes cool before serving dessert.
