Pork and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Recipe ingredients:

1/2 pound lean boneless pork
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 medium onion sliced
1 10-ounce package frozen cut broccoli
( thawed and drained )
1 clove garlic ( minced )
1/2 teaspoon grated gingerroot
2 teaspoons cooking oil
1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts


Prepare your recipe:
Thinly slice pork into bite-size strips. For sauce, stir together chicken broth, soy sauce, cornstarch and dry sherry. Set aside. Add onion, broccoli, garlic, and gingerroot to hot wok and stir-fry with 1 tbsp. oil for 3 minutes or till vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove vegetable mixture from wok. Add pork and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes with 1 tbsp. oil, till no longer pink. Push pork from center of wok. Stir sauce and add to the center of wok. Cook and stir till thickened. Return vegetables to wok. Add water chestnuts and stir all ingredients together. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes more.

A tasty and easy stew recipe
Country Kitchen Pork Stew


Recipe ingredients:
3/4 pound boneless pork shoulder
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 7 1/2 ounce can tomatoes ( cut up )
2 small onions, ( cut into quarters )
1/3 cup sliced celery
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 cloves garlic ( minced )
1 bay leaf
1 cup yellow summer squash
( cut into 1/2 inch slices )
1 9 ounce package frozen cut green beans
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Prepare your recipe:
Trim fat from pork and cut into 1 inch cubes. In large saucepan with tbsp. of oil brown pork and drain fat. Add bouillon cube and 1 1/4 cups water. Stir in the undrained tomatoes, celery, oregano, cumin, onions, garlic, and bay leaf. Bring to boil reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 1 hour or till pork is tender. Add squash and green beans. Simmer 15 minutes more. Combine cornstarch and 1 tablespoon cold water. Stir into pork mixture, stir till thickened. Cook and stir 1 minutes more. Remove bay leaf.
Serves 6

Pork and Sauerkraut with Apples
Recipe ingredients:

1 16-ounce can sliced potatoes ( drained )
1 14-ounce can sauerkraut
( rinsed and drained )
1 medium apple ( cored and chopped )
1 tablespoon brown mustard
1/2 cup apple juice
4 boneless smoked pork loin chops


Prepare your recipe:
Arrange potato slices in an ungreased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Stir together sauerkraut, chopped apple and mustard, spoon over potatoes. Pour in apple juice. Arrange pork chops in dish. Bake covered in a 350° oven about 1 hour or until pork is tender.
Serves 4
