Pizza Party Casserole
A tasty pizza twist packed with flavor

Recipe ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef
3 cups spiral pasta ( uncooked )
1 - 8 oz. can mushroom pieces
1 small onion ( chopped )
1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 - 14 oz. jar pizza sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
4 cups mozzarella cheese ( shredded )
1 pkg. sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (grated )

Preparing your recipe:

Cook pasta according to package directions. In a large skillet cook ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink.Drain cooked ground beef.In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, mushrooms, tomato sauce, pizza sauce, tomato paste, sugar and seasonings; mix well. Stir in cooked and drained pasta and shredded mozzarella cheese.Divide pizza sauce mixture into 2 greased 11 x 7 x 2 baking dishes.Top both with pepperoni slices, cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes, uncover top with Parmesan cheese and bake 10 more minutes.

Recipe makes 16 servings

Rice broccoli and cheese casserole

Recipe ingredients:

4 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1 1/3 cups long grain rice
1 cup medium chopped green pepper
4 cups chopped broccoli
4 beaten eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dried basil ( crushed )
1 teaspoon dried oregano ( crushed )
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 8-ounce container soft-style cream cheese

Preparing your casserole:

In a saucepan combine bouillon granules and 3 cups water. Bring to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 20 minutes or till tender. In a medium saucepan combine green pepper and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes add chopped broccoli. Cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or till crisp-tender then drain well. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, basil and oregano. Stir your cheddar cheese and cream cheese into rice. Then stir your rice mixture into egg mixture. Stir in cooked vegetables. Spoon into 2 10x6x2 inch baking dishes. Bake casseroles uncovered in a 350&degree; oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
